With increasing work-life pressure, massage is no longer an exclusive service for the middle-aged and elderly. Many office workers who sit for long hours already suffer from excessive fatigue in their neck, shoulders, back or legs.
To help young people improve their health conditions, on July 24, Lefan Health Technology, a Xiaomi ecological chain company, launched the “1D AI Smart Massage Chair” in Xiamen.
Based on a variety of massage modes, the 1D AI Smart Massage Chair innovatively integrates voice control, allowing users to command it via Xiao Ai smart speaker. Currently, the chair is available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi Youpin platform at a crowdfunding price of 3899 RMB.
The 1D AI Smart Massage Chair is specially designed for the younger generation, with optimization for the shoulder, neck and lower back — areas prone to fatigue among young people. The back-mounted massager adopts a 3D bionic massage mechanism that adjusts in real time according to the curvature of the human spine, keeping the massager close to the body at all times.
Inside the massage chair, it features three customized programs: full-body relaxation, shoulder & neck relief, and sedentary comfort. With six massage techniques — kneading, acupressure, Swedish, kneading-tapping, tapping, and Tuina — it alleviates fatigue according to different body conditions and targeted zones.
Apart from conventional massage functions, the 1D AI Smart Massage Chair supports three different operating methods. A traditional control panel is located on the right side of the chair for adjustments. In addition, the chair is compatible with the Mi Home APP, allowing users to fine-tune settings via smartphone.
What makes it even more noteworthy is its voice integration with the Xiao Ai speaker. The diversified operation methods cater to different user groups, making it more convenient. Voice commands such as “Xiao Ai, I need a massage”, “Xiao Ai, massage my lower back”, and “Xiao Ai, recline flat” are recognized quickly and accurately, drastically changing the interaction paradigm of traditional massage chairs.
At the launch event, apart from the “1D AI Smart Massage Chair”, Lefan also introduced two new products for legs and feet. Both products meet the design and functional needs of today's youth, helping people to get a moment of relaxation in their fragmented time amidst the fast-paced modern life.
Currently, all three new Lefan products will be available on Xiaomi Youpin. The “1D AI Smart Massage Chair” starts crowdfunding on July 26 at 3899 RMB. The foot massager will be released on August 12 at 399 RMB, and the inflatable leg massager will be available at the end of September for 469 RMB.
